What We Believe

The Little Church on the Prairie is a church that seeks to:

• Follow Jesus
• Teach from the Bible
• Worship God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
• Impact the world with the love of God

We believe God is the creator and ruler of the universe.

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior, and Lord of all.

We believe the Holy Spirit is working in the world to draw all people to Jesus.

We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us.

We believe we are created in the image of God. But because of sin, we and our world are broken and in need of the forgiveness, renewal, and salvation offered by God through his Son Jesus Christ. Although God loves us just the way we are, because he loves us so much, he refuses to allow us to stay the way we are.

We believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

We believe the church is the community through which God chooses to love the world.

We believe that one day Jesus will return.

We believe on that day, justice and love will prevail.

We believe on that day, God will set the world right.
